About Travel Eagles
Most travel content online is confidently wrong. Visa rules get copied from articles written three years ago. Prices are quoted without a date, in a currency that has since lost a third of its value. Entry requirements that changed last year are still being published as current.
This site exists to be accurate instead of comprehensive. Every destination guide carries the date it was last checked, and where a figure comes from a government or operator source, we say so.

How we check things
Entry rules come from government sources — immigration ministries and national foreign-office travel advice — not from other travel blogs.
Transport fares come from the operators themselves wherever they publish them.
Every price carries a date. A number without one is useless in a country with 30% inflation.
When we cannot confirm something, we say so rather than guessing. You will find sentences on this site that admit uncertainty. That is deliberate.
What we get wrong
Prices change, visa rules change with little notice, and we will sometimes be out of date before we notice. If you find something here that no longer matches reality — a fare that has gone up, a rule that has changed, a place that has closed — tell us. We will correct it and date the change.
How this site makes money
Affiliate commissions. If you book a hotel, a car, insurance or an eSIM through a link here, the company pays us a share of their own commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same whether you use our link or go direct.
That arrangement creates an obvious incentive problem, so here is how we handle it: we publish the downsides of every area we recommend, we say when something is not worth the money, and we tell you when not to rent a car even though car hire pays us better than anything else on the site.
